    Free settling in sessions

    Prior to your child starting at nursery, you will be invited to bring them along for introductory sessions, which enable them to have short visits before their start date. These sessions are FREE, and will give you an opportunity to discuss your child’s needs and requirements with their key carer.

    15 hours per week Free Entitlement – Ages 3, 4 & 5 year olds

    Little Pumpkins Nursery is part of the Early Years Development Partnership. 3, 4 and 5 year olds in the Early Years Foundation stage do receive funding since we are an eligible provider. The funding is received on behalf of the parent and is taken off the parents’ total monthly Fee’s. Further information is available upon request from the nursery manager.

    Free Sensory Room

    The New Multi Sensory room is a specifically designed environment, which will enable all age groups to enjoy a very wide range of sensory experiences that gently stimulates all the senses for therapy, learning, relaxation and fun.

    There is a variety of equipment within the room including an exciting corridor tactile wall panel incorporating key elements from Acoustic and fibre optic tactile wall panels. Press the big switch to make the black fibre optic carpet sparkle brightly, or either switch on the two communicators to allow non-verbal children to initiate communication throughout the day. Also available the bubble tube with 8 colours, a Vibro-acoustic body pillow so they can feel the music, cushioned padded floors and walls, starlight ceilings to change room colour, light tunnels and sensory boxes to use within the room. And so much more….

    Breakfast Club

    The Nursery runs a Breakfast Club for those parents who need an earlier start.

    The Breakfast Club operates from early morning Monday to Friday and is FREE. The children are offered a breakfast comprising of cereals, toast, milk, fruit etc.

    French and music Classes

    We aim to provide the best, most comprehensive programme of the highest quality and offer free fortnightly French and Music classes.

    Working Family Tax Credit

    Nine out of 10 families are eligible for some financial assistance through the new Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit. The amount you receive will depend on your circumstances.Many parents are accessing funding to help contribute to nursery fees.     Childcare Vouchers

    Childcare Vouchers can be used to pay for all forms of registered childcare for children up to the age of 16. As part of a salary sacrifice scheme, each working parent may save up to £1,196* per year. To benefit from the scheme, parents simply exchange a part of their salary for the same amount of Childcare Vouchers and use them to pay the childcare provider of their choice. A popular employee benefit, Childcare Vouchers are non-taxable (up to £243 per parent, per month or £55 per parent, per week) and do not attract employer or employee National Insurance contributions.
