Here are a few handy tips about how you can get help with your childcare fees.
Prior to your child starting at nursery, you will be invited to bring them along for introductory sessions, which enable them to have short visits before their start date. These sessions are FREE, and will give you an opportunity to discuss your child’s needs and requirements with their key carer.
Little Pumpkins Nursery is part of the Early Years Development Partnership. Children become eligible for age-specific funding in the term following their relevant birthday (or month, in the case of 9 month olds).
Term start dates are typically 1st January, 1st April and 1st September each year. There may be variations at specific nurseries, so to confirm, please speak to your Nursery Manager.

Please note, a limited number of fully funded spaces are available.
You can get up to £500 every 3 months (up to £2,000 a year) for each of your children to help with the costs of childcare. This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year).
If you get Tax-Free Childcare, you’ll set up an online childcare account for your child. For every £8 you pay into this account, the government will pay in £2 to use to pay your provider.

You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 15 or 30 hours free childcare if you’re eligible for both.
Nine out of ten families are eligible for some financial assistance through the new Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit. The amount you receive will depend on your circumstances, many parents are accessing funding to help contribute to nursery fees. Childcare Vouchers can be used to pay for all forms of registered childcare for children up to the age of 16. As part of a salary sacrifice scheme, each working parent may save up to £1,196* per year. To benefit from the scheme, parents simply exchange a part of their salary for the same amount of Childcare Vouchers and use them to pay the childcare provider of their choice. A popular employee benefit, Childcare Vouchers are non-taxable (up to £243 per parent, per month or £55 per parent, per week) and do not attract employer or employee National Insurance contributions.
