At Little Pumpkins Nursery we understand just how important it is to provide premium childcare services that will give your child the very best opportunities during their early years. For this reason, we’re continually investing and expanding our nurseries.
Play Apparatus
Each of our current nurseries benefit from both traditional and state of the art play equipment for all children to enjoy. These range from jigsaws and books, to touch screen computers. All of these elements are the perfect tools for discovering the world from a young age, encouraging the development of the senses, communication, literacy and social skills.
Outdoor Play
Our nursery premises have large, secure gardens that are open to our children throughout the day.
Each garden has been specifically designed to match the needs of the Nursery and the children we look after.
Using natural materials and a selection of exciting play equipment, we’ve created an adventurous space for education and discovery.
Outdoor play is not only essential for overall health and fitness but also improves the childrens mental health and cognitive development.
Sensory Room
Our sensory room is a specifically designed environment, which enables all age groups to encounter a wide range of sensory experiences that gently stimulates all senses for therapy, learning, relaxation and fun.
There is a variety of equipment within the room, including an exciting corridor tactile wall panel incorporating key elements from acoustic and fibre optic tactile wall panels.
Also available, is starlight ceilings to change room colour, light tunnels and sensory boxes to use within the room.
Extra Activities
Other activities include dance, music, arts and crafts, all of which encourage children to be expressive while also aiding their personal, social and emotional development.
We also aim to provide the best, most comprehensive programme of the highest quality and offer free fortnightly French and music classes.
